huh. Watching CNN’s coverage of the devastation left behind by Hurricane Katrina is pretty sobering stuff. Families, homes, communities, lives have been washed away. It is estimated it may take months to clear the water from New Orleans. Mother Nature has been getting pretty nasty in recent years. It makes me wonder why people would take any additional risk by living in *known* earthquake, hurricane, tornado etc. zones. Ya, ya… love your home but seriously…if need be I could think of a half dozen places I would move to in Canada. It is disturbing to think they will rebuild New Orleans and really what is to stop this from happening again? I hope they manage.
