I have always thought the one place you would see sportsmanship is at the Olympics but I guess there are no bastions of decency any longer in sport that you can count on. I was flipping channels and caught the end of (what was clearly an intense game) the US v. Italy in Volleyball. Well, the Italians won… and there was trash talking and audible f-yous exchanged (it is funny what some mics pick up). Classy guys, real classy. Shame on ALL of them. How disappointing to witness. What next? Clearing the benches and brawling? It is just a game. Get over yourselves and enjoy the experience and don’t take the class out of world class competitions.
